This is beautiful soft merino I purchased from Paradise Fibers. I originally intended to experiment with dyeing and blending with Angora and glitz. I got this because of a post by my blog friend, The Brave Little Thread, in which she extolled the virtues of her buttery bliss. I became jealous and got my own. A full pound, mind you. I rarely purchase wool, rather I usually process raw wool myself.
But now, my daughter just made an announcement which isn’t official, yet, but is not unexpected. Therefore, this wool is just perfect for the new purpose.
This buttery fineness is destined for a wedding shawl. My baby.
I still have to find the right pattern. If it is to be lace, then I will have to crochet it.
